Health and welfare

Most of us will know someone whose life has been touched by cancer, or altered by serious illness. We work with our local hospice, Keech Hospice, in many ways and are pleased to celebrate and support all the various activities our staff do to support this hospice and other important health charities every year.

Live band charity evening

We are delighted to have match funded a live band charity evening at Harlington Village Hall, Bedfordshire, fundraising for Keech Hospice.

The evening included 60’s and 70’s live music from popular local band, Gerry & The Attricks, and a brilliant auction was held. All auctioned items were donated by Bedfordshire businesses, including a cream tea for two at Flitwick Manor; an original Sky Sports football, signed by Jeff Stelling and eight of the Soccer Saturday team; and four tickets to watch The Bedford Blues play in a home game.

In total, an impressive £4182 was raised for Keech Hospice- well done to all involved!

Keech Colour Dash

Keech Colour Dash supported by Cawleys

We’re very proud to celebrate the achievements of Cawleys staff who took part in the Keech Colour Dash last weekend.

Lucie Darvill, Andrew Pegg, Kerry Coulter, Samantha Southey with her daughter Lola and Dave Buckingham all completed the 5km and raised over £300 for Keech Hospice.

Cawleys provided a complimentary waste collection service at the event which saw over a thousand people making some colourful memories at Wigmore Valley Park in Luton.  Well done everyone!

Pretty Muddy

The Cawleys Broker/Sales division, Danielle Edge, Nicola de Ronde and Lauren Secondo joined the pink army for this year’s Race for Life – 5k Pretty Muddy to raise money for Cancer Research UK. A huge “well done” to them and a heartfelt “thank you” to all the staff who supported their fund raising.

They made a whopping £485 for Cancer Research UK. And they completed the race in 40 minutes – what a brilliant achievement – well done!

Get in the Groove

We were pleased to sponsor a hole at the Aldwickbury Gold Day in aid of Keech Hospice. Cawleys matched the fund raising on the night to give a further £2,750.
