CHUMS is  a charity that is close to our hearts and we have supported them from a number of years as part of our Extra Mile Challenge.

CHUMS provided invaluable counselling and help to one of our colleague’s children following his tragic death in 2007.  CHUMS provide an invaluable service supporting children and young people who have lost a parent or close family member.   As well as our yearly fundraising cycle event, our team members have provided Christmas presents for those children supported by CHUMS who have been affected by bereavement. The presents are distributed at a special Christmas remembrance service where children remember those they have lost by sharing poems and readings with each other.  At the end of the service there is a special appearance from Father Christmas and each child receives a gift.

CHUMS is a Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Service for Children and Young People that provides therapeutic support in a variety of ways.  CHUMS has developed a unique service delivery model to ensure that children and young people are able to access a service that supports their individual needs.
