Hazardous Waste Disposal
Waste is hazardous when it contains properties that make it harmful to our health or the environment.
Cawleys supply a wide range of suitable storage containers for your hazardous or technical wastes, including drums, bulk containers, fluorescent tube containers and pallet boxes.
Tankers
For all liquid and sludge wastes up to 27,000 litres in volume, tankers are the most appropriate removal option. Steel lined tankers are provided when liquids consist of acids or alkalis, and PET regulation tankers are provided for low flash material.
1000 litres UN Approved IBC
Used for the transport of hazardous liquids, they can also be used for the collection of mixed tins (approx. 130 x 5 litres) and aerosols. The strong metal case and high density plastic inner on a pallet base makes them easy to transport around site by forklift or pallet truck.
Clip Top Drum 40 and 205 litres
Used for the packaging of smaller hazardous items, all clip top drums are UN Approved for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods. They are open top for easy loading and containment, and can be provided in a choice of metal or plastic drums to suit waste needs.
Tight Head Drum 25 and 205 litres
Used for the storage and collection of liquid wastes, all tight head drums are UN Approved for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods, and can be provided in a choice of metal or plastic to suit waste needs.
Pallet/shrinkwrap
Used for the packing of undamaged containerised wastes.
Battery Box
High density plastic box designed to store and transport acid wet celled batteries.
